COSHH Training (Hazardous Substances)

COSHH Training (Hazardous Substances)

COSHH is the law that requires employers to control substances that are hazardous to health. Most businesses use substances, or products that are mixtures of substances, these could cause harm to employees, contractors and other people.

Sometimes substances can easily be recognised as harmful. Common substances such as paint, bleach or dust from natural materials may also be harmful.

Employers should provide information, training and instruction for employees who work with substances hazardous to health.

Those undertaking the COSHH training will be given additional insight into the likely risks associated with hazardous substances. These courses aim to provide sufficient practical knowledge to understand and complete the process of risk assessment with confidence. Also to know how and where to source information that will help identify suitable control measures.

COSHH training carried out on your site offers cost effective training for groups of upto 10 people. Call Project Skills Solutions 0845 1307411 COSHH training.
