Do you know what is below the foot path before you start digging? 600 people are injured every year due to underground cables being damaged during excavation work on the highway. Many more are often injured through water and gas pipes, these damages often incur high repair charges and loss of work.
Our cable avoidance courses are set out to make candidates aware of the dangers involved when excavating footpaths, highways and private land. Candidates will receive the correct training in the use of locating equipment so they know exactly how to safely locate and avoid most underground services. This training can be carried out onsite UKWIDE where your employee's can be trained using your specific equipment for example any of the following Radio detection, CAT and Genny, RD4000, C-scope Cat and Transmitter or Koletric series locators.
The training is a mix of theory and practical where candidates will get to use the equipment and locate services cut your strike rates and keep your employee's safe.
