Chainsaw Training

Chainsaw Training

Chainsaws are very versatile tools with a variety of different uses. They are also potentially dangerous and serious accidents can and do occur without the proper training.

Chainsaw training is a legal requirement. Under the Health and Safety at Work Act, the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) requires employers to provide adequate training and to ensure that chainsaws and related equipment are operated by employees who have received the appropriate training for their safe use.
