Confined Space Training

Confined Space Training

A confined space is any space which is of an enclosed nature where there is a risk of serious injury or even death from dangerous substances or conditions, e.g. lack of oxegen. A number of people are killed or seriously injured in confined spaces each year in the UK due to lack of knowledge of working in confined spaces. This happens in a wide range of industries from those involving complex plant to simple storage vessels. Those killed include not only people working in the confined space but those who try to rescue them without proper confined space training and equipment.

Project Skills Solutions have been providing confined spaces training courses for many years and offer a full range to suit your specific confined space training requirement. The confined space courses are a mix of practical and theory where candidates get a chance to practice the safe methods of working in confined spaces while under the instruction of experienced trainers. These courses will train personnel to assess the risk of a confined space and how to safely carry out work in a confined space.

There are several options of confined space training courses where individuals can attend our open courses at UKwide confined space training centres or companies are offered cost effective options for groups at centres or onsite confined space training at their premises Ukwide.
Both cover the full course content however the onsite training in confined spaces can be tailored to a specific operation that the candidates will see as real life working experiences.
