Course Content

This ladder training course will provide basic knowledge that delegates require to carry out work using a ladder in a safe manner. It will give them an understanding of the hazards and risks involved with working with ladders and focuses on the responsibilities of a ladder inspection and safety register.

By the end of the course delegates will be able to:

  • Identify any defects using the correct for the given task
  • Know how to erect the ladder at the correct angle
  • Carry out risk assessments
  • Know how to tie the ladder at the correct points
  • Understand the correct PPE
