This programme provides delegates with practical ideas, tools and techniques for successfully gaining employment in project management.
Working in management will provide you with the skills and knowledge for working in a project management capacity in Commercial, Public Sector or Not for Profit Organisations.
Projects bring together resources, skills, technology and ideas to achieve business objectives and deliver business benefits. Good project management helps to ensure that risks are identified and managed appropriately, and objectives and benefits are achieved within budget, time and the required quality.
This programme provides a fantastic introduction into project management and whilst using Prince 2 as a framework to the programme it covers more than methodology, the programme practically looks at the need for project management in the commercial sector, the roles available as well as the way to get those roles. Above all this programme provides you with the wherewithal to combine existing skills and experience with new skills and experiences to give you the confident and competence to be successful in your new working environment.
The final two days of the programme are dedicated to developing the personal skills for gaining employment in management and putting together a targeted action plan / strategy for approaching organisations employing managers.
